Grabe! Add to that the fact na ginagawa yung Katipunan extension dahil dun sa overpass ng C5. So ayuuunn, spent almost an hour and a half in the car, before reaching yung tapat ng Eastwood. We were at the 2004 FETE de la MUSIQUE along with other kinds of people: rakistas, jologs, conyos, chinitas, indians, americans, classy-people, bohemians, peasants-like, yosi-people, elitistas, big groups, small groups, loners, couples, double-daters, and what not…as in para siyang melting pot talaga! They were all wearing black shirts with a red/white sign/symbol/emblem sa gitna. Tas kanya kanyang style ng black downers: 3/4 cut, pants, shorts, capri, pencil pants, curdoroy, cargo, fatigue, at kung ano ano pa! hahahaha! tas cyempre, di mawawala ang BLACK/RED/BLUE chucks! benta talaga! Tas kanya kanya ding bling-blings! Silver chains around their necks, belt-to-wallet chains, black bracelets with spikes, black choker with spikes, at iba pa! ayun…

Well, di naman ganun ka dami yung tao last year sa El Pueblo e! Nakakainis!

Twas 9+ pm na nun, and spent the rest of the nyt with them, touring different stages like rock, alternative, world, jazz, and blues (di kami nakapuntang ska/reggae *kainis, gusto ko pa naman dun, tas sabi din ng iba kong friends ok din dun*) Pumasok din kami sa mall to take a little rest sa commotion sa labas. Dami kasing tao, tas mainit pa, ayun…just had to resort to the comforts offered by the mall: aircon and restrooms!! hehehe…tas pumunta kaming starbucks, pinakilala ko yung 2 highschool friends ko sa imed friends ko, then pumunta kaming jazz stage…andddddddd….

ambon…ambon….drizzle…patak…patak….shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh….KULOG-KULOOOOOGGGG!!!!!!!! analakas ng ULAAAANNNN!!!!!!!!!!! buti na lang at nasa may walk na kami nun na may cover! giiiiaaaadddd!!!! yung audience ng jazz, (na nasa open area sa may city walk 2) shempre sumilong, pero had to give to the guys who were playing. CLAP CLAP CLAP!!! Kahit umuulan, di pa rin sila tumigil tumugtog! Nababasa na yung speakers, pati yung organ nung keyboardist, TULOY PA RIN! Pero syempre, since wala na silang audience, they had to stop na rin eventually at kinancel (read: CANCELLED) na ng organizers yung WHOLE THING!

FOR FRIGGIN’ PETE’S SAKE! 11:00 pm pa lang yun! YUNG MGA PINUNTA KO SA FETE, DI KO NARINIIIIIGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ohhhhhweeell… what can i dooo? WHAT CAN WE DO? The forces of nature’s always greater than those of men’s.

So ayun, Maan had to call her brother so labas kami sa city walk towrad the parking lot kasi nandun sa rock stage yung bro nya. But it was stillll raiininggg so we ended up making silong (hahahaha! pathetic way to say na ‘sumilong kami’) sa Lounge music stage sa may tapat ng Blue Onion. Giaaaaaddd!!! Ang hassssllle tlaga pag umuulan! Basang basa yung sapatos ko at yung pants ko! Tas ang ikyyy pa ng feeling ng balat kasi humid and all.

Pero siyempre, may ok din na nangyari:

1. It was time for all the sweaty rakistas in the mosh-pit to take a bath. *evil laugh*

2. Introduced my Imed friends to my UPIS friends. Hehehe…

3. Nakakinig ng full set ng isang Alternative band.😛 Na may electric mandolin player! Hasteeeegg!

4. I got some time to ogle at heart’s beeeoootiffuulll pic sa just g sa Eastwood mall! YEAH!

Had my self-control reign over my alcohol loving self.

6. Nakasama ko si Maan. *big smile*😀 at cge na nga, si Kathy at si Abe.

ayun, at nakatulog din ako after with the TV on! ganun ako kawasted.

so that’s about it. That was my WET(e) FETE experience.

rald: still looking forward to next year’s fete de la musique.

ps. I just found out na sinesched pala ng French ang Fete kasabay ng Summer Solstice (June 23). How IRONINC? It rained.
