Definitely beats being stuck in traffic on a busy and rainy Friday night! TV series marathon to follow!

Last Sunday, Maan & I had a joint thanksgiving party for family, friends & classmates to extend our gratitude to all those who made our becoming full-fledged doctors possible, and of course to celebrate our passing the medical boards! Booyeah! =) A great night of fun, drinks, and cupcakes!
Pictures from my First Ilocos trip
Yup, this is my first Ilocos trip ever! I was at awe when I first laid my eyes on the Gorge at Quirino Bridge (the one connecting La Union and Ilocos Sur I think…) Hindi ako makapaniwala sa nakita ko, hehe. First time akong nakakita ng malawak na ilog na namamagitan sa dalawang malaking bundok, hehe. Kala ko nasa Yangtze River ako, bwehehe. 
Got to see din Marcos’ wax mosoleum(sp?), and his museum. Pati Batac and Paoay church. Hehe. Pati pala stone houses sa Vigan, nadaanan ko (nung pauwi na). Although I only stayed in Ilocos for 25 hours, it was time well spent. Hehe, I would love to come back for more sight-seeing! Actually, my friends and I are planning to go on a roadtrip there on June 9-11. Hehe, sana matuloy nga. Woohooo!

In other news, I’ll be ushering and singing at the graduation ceremonies of UPCM Class 2006 at the UP Theater today. Parang ang saya na tuloy grumaduate. Hay…4 more years Ge, kaya mo pa yan!
And, yes. 2nd Anniversary namin ni Maan on Monday! It’s been helluva two years already since that bright, sunny, and happy day at Tagaytay. Hehe. <3 <3 <3

I wont come to fete 2006 no more. 
Andami na talagang mga masasamang elementong pumupunta doon, at hindi ko na sila kinakaya. ARGH. Hindi ako natuwa, masaya lang ako dahil kasama ko si Maan doon habang nakikinig ng kahit anong music na hindi naman namin maintindihan.
Eto pa, hindi namin napanood si papa ebe.
Ayoko talaga ng matataong lugar, lalo na sa lugar na maraming taong naka-itim, naka-Chuck taylors, at may kani-kaniyang bling-blings…
Kaya nga hindi ako nakikinig ng METAL e.

Usapang acads naman tayo ngayon…
Ok lang yung exam namin noong Friday. Multiple Choice lahat, 80 items, chicken lang yun kung ikukumpara sa 200 mahigit items na lalabas sa Anatomy…siyet! Hehehe. Ang ok pa ay computerized ang checking! Oo!! Yung parang sa UPCAT, yung i-she-shade mo lang yung letter of your choice tapos computer na lang ang magchecheck! Wag ka, wala daw pera ang UPCM kaya kailangang magtaas ng tuition, pero may computerized checking na, at Wireless internet pa! At ang BASIC SERVICES na para sa mga estudyante ay hindi maibigay gaya ng aircon sa ibang lecture halls, yung electric fan sa student center at medstones.
Nakakainis man, pero ganyan talaga…mali lang talaga ang pagpaprioritize sa mga proyekto.
Natapos na rin ang Centennial Run! Nagkaroon ng kaunting problema at nagawa kong kausapin ang pulis (first time kong kumausap ng police officer, naks!) para sa ilang pagbabago, at voila! success!!!
Sa susunod na Tuesday, may mahabang eksam na kami sa OS202a (Nervous system etc etc etc)…nakakabagot mag-aral at tinutulugan ko lang ang mga lectures (dahil iniisip ko na kaya ko namang basahin na lang yung transcriptions plus yung libro). Pero nagpapanic ako dahil alam kong matutulugan ko rin iyon, kaya…
DUN DUN DUNNNNNN!!! (enter horror music…)
Ako na nama’y nagdadalawang isip sa pagduduktor ko…tinatamad na naman akong mag-aral, wala na naman akong motivation…kanina, habang naglelecture yung doktor sa harap ng hall tungkol sa mga parte ng utak at mga proseso doon at sunud-sunod niyang ina-identify yung mga latin na mga pangalan…tang-ina, ayoko ng ganitong buhay. :[
Kailangan ko na namang humanap ng motivation…kailangan ko na namang bigyang halaga ang pag-aaral kong ito, makapag-basa nga ng mga lumang entries maya-maya….
